Why You Should Take Imperfect Action
I’m out here at one of my favorite mushroom hunting spots. I’m out here today looking to see if there’s any oyster mushrooms which are popping yet.
It’s still a bit early because there’s snow back there behind there. It’s always great to get outside check around see what’s going on as I was walking out here today I was thinking of one of my clients I was speaking with this week and she was kind of stuck in her business.
She didn’t know what to do next and she’s having problems moving forward and what I figured out is that she was trying to take action. Which is great but she was trying to take perfect action and in this business you have to take action. You have to make content, you have to do your website but um you don’t want to take perfect action.
You want to take imperfect action because that is the key because in this business nothing will ever be perfect and this video is not perfect either.
I’m having to switch arms it’s kind of shaky I don’t care sometimes I’m not looking at the camera. I’m looking over here. I don’t care because what I’m doing is taking action I’m making content I’m taking imperfect action because you don’t care if this shakes a little bit do you?
Of course not you want the information so here’s the thing in your business especially with online marketing the key is to take imperfect action.
There’s a saying in this business “done is better than perfect.”
I am guilty of this you’re guilty of this we’re all guilty of this we’re trying to make things perfect.
So, if you’re stuck in your business you don’t know what to do you’re trying to make things perfect, you’re getting frustrated just let it go get it done.
Put it out there you can change it later. That’s the key too, you can change it later!
